Intended Use

The Argyle™ Replogle Suction Catheter is indicated for decompression of the esophagus in neonates or infants with esophageal atresia.

The device is intended to be used by trained healthcare professionals in a hospital or inpatient setting.

Double-Lumen Catheter Design

The Argyle™ Replogle Suction Catheter incorporates a clear double-lumen tube.

One lumen is designed for drainage while the second lumen provides ventilation.

This dual-lumen configuration supports decompression while helping maintain airflow within the catheter system.

Drainage Lumen

The drainage lumen incorporates smooth eyelets at the distal tip.

These eyelets are designed to support fluid transfer during esophageal decompression.

The number of eyelets varies according to catheter size.

Ventilation Lumen

The ventilation lumen is designed to help reduce adherence to the mucosal wall.

This forms an important part of the Replogle catheter’s double-lumen design and supports the intended drainage and ventilation function.

Graduation Markers

Graduation markers are printed on the outside of the catheter to help healthcare professionals during placement.

These external markings provide a visual reference when positioning the catheter according to clinical requirements and facility procedures.

Radiopaque Design

The catheter incorporates an X-ray opaque sentinel line.

This feature provides radiographic visibility of the catheter tubing when imaging is clinically required.
